Improving of consumer protection against zoonotic diseases

The project will improve Albania’s animal health and veterinary public health systems and produce socio-economic benefits that will accrue from: the prevention and control of major zoonotic diseases; improved food safety (especially of dairy products); improved animal health and consequent improved livestock productivity; and, strengthened delivery of veterinary services, which will be aligned to the Aquis Communautaire and the requirements of the OIE.
