Livestock and Meat Production and Marketing
The study consisted of comprehensive surveys of livestock and meat production and marketing – at domestic and international levels – in order to identify projects capable of (a) reducing the uncontrolled increase of the cattle herd on rangelands (particularly on communal rangelands); (b) halting the deterioration of grassland resources; and (c) activating an adequate supply of live cattle and meat to the domestic and international markets.
