Support to the veterinary sector
The overall objective of the project is to improve human and animal health protection and safety of food of animal origin in Montenegro and achieve further compliance with the EU standard in this area. The purpose is: (i) to strengthen the legislative, institutional and administrative capacities related to animal health, animal welfare, trade in animals and products of animal origin, official controls and animal by-products; and (ii) to further align and enforce the EU veterinary standards and eradicate certain animal diseases
