Technical Assistance to the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Albanian Development Fund (ADF) for the Local Community Development Programme (LCDP)

The overall objective of the project is to support the creation of favourable infrastructure conditions for sustained economic development underpinned by the consolidated local government, thus contributing to the alleviation of poverty and improvement of the living conditions of the population. The specific objective is to continue to improve the capacity of the PMU / ADF to perform its mandate, ensuring that infrastructure projects funded under CARDS 2001 and 2002 programmes are adequately completed in accordance with EC procedures, while increasing the participation and contribution of the local government community in small infrastructure works.
