EGYPT – WHEAT HARVEST MECHANIZATION CELEBRATION EVENT

As part of the EU-KAFI programme, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Cairo, AGT International was invited to participate in the event “Celebration of the Mechanisation of Wheat Harvesting”, held in Damanhur on 11 May 2026, in its capacity as supplier of agricultural machinery – Lot 4 – Seed drill machinery, Lot 5 – Soil working machinery, and Lot 7 – Workshop tools. ”.

The  beneficiary is the Egyptian Agricultural Research Centre (ARC) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

The European Union-KAFI Programme celebrates the wheat harvest season and showcases how the European Union and Egypt are supporting small and medium-sized farmers through modern mechanization, increased productivity, and a stronger future for Egypt’s farming communities.

The wheat harvest in Egypt is more than a seasonal milestone — it is a testament to the resilience, dignity, and dedication of Egyptian farmers. This event brought together high-level representatives, partners, key stakeholders, and beneficiary small and medium-sized farmers to inaugurate newly introduced agricultural machinery and highlight the ongoing cooperation and joint efforts in the agricultural sector.
