GENEVE – AidEx The Global Humanitarian Aid Event 25-26 October 2023

We were there!

With the aim of increasing our knowledge on the subject matter and acquire as many means as possible to face any emergency situation and the challenges of an ever-developing political landscape, AGT participated in the most important event in the sector: AidEx Geneva.

The world’s leading humanitarian aid and disaster relief event – AidEx featured high-level conference sessions, workshops, discussion groups, impact sessions, training programmes geared to solving the challenges in aid and relief. The exhibition is the largest of its kind in the world and the event offers many opportunities to see all the latest innovations, meet new suppliers, share your experiences with your peers, build meaningful relationships and continue the conversation afterwards. Each year, over 3,000 representatives of the humanitarian aid and development community from over 65 countries, attend an AidEx event. Participants come from UN Agencies, the EU, Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, local and international NGOs, government, and the private segment.

We got the opportunity to strengthen our relationships with our partners in disaster prevention/risk, medical supplies, shelter & temporary housing, transport, logistics & aid, water treatment & sanitation, and to broaden our suppliers list with new companies, to converse with the main exhibiting organizations.

We returned home after two days of intense meetings, workshops and conferences, with a lot of extra experience, to put ourselves at the service of a world where increasing needs and reducing resources, we are called to do more with less.
