Feasibility Study for an Integrated Livestock Development Project in the Provinces of Ouaka and Lower Kotto

The study consisted of socio-economic surveys over a 1,000,000 ha zone in the crop and livestock sectors (200,000 head of cattle); animal husbandry and veterinary studies for cattle and sheep; assessment of the carrying capacity of rangelands and evaluation of the possibility of introducing a pasture rotation system; market, credit and transportation studies; and preliminary engineering designs of rural infrastructures and buildings.
