Realization of training for Polish public administration employees – TSE control in Poland, part II

The subject of the contract is organisation of highly specialized trainings on Monitoring and diagnostic methods of TSE. As a result of the contract performance, 395 persons shall be trained. This group shall consist of the employees of the General Veterinary Inspectorate, Regional Veterinary Inspectorates, Institute for Veterinary Hygiene, Ministry of Agriculture and Poviat (provincial) Veterinary Inspectorates. In particular : 1) At central and regional level: (i) New diagnostic methods – rapid BSE tests – presentation of rules for execution of tests; (ii) new diagnostic methods – rapid scrapie tests – presentation of rules for execution of tests; (iii) new diagnostic methods – diversification tests; (iv) New diagnostic methods – rapid BSE tests in case of Cervidae – presentation of rules for execution of tests -2) At province level: (i) Procedures and actions to be taken in case of fighting against, monitoring, and control of TSE. New diagnostic methods – rapid BSE and srapie tests – presentation of rules for execution of tests; (ii) Rules, objectives and methods for breeding of scrapie-resistant breeds; (iii) BSE in case of goat – epizootic information and scientific publications; (iv) Future EU policy for fighting, monitoring and control of TSE/BSE
