Study for Swine Development Programme in Nariño Province

The scopes of the programme are: (i) the widespread transfer of most advanced stock-raising techniques; (ii) the improvement of rural family group’s sanitary conditions;(iii) maximum utilisation of agricultural by-products and tradition animal nutrition products; (iv) introduction of rural families in the market system and improvement of their income; (v) increase of the qualitative standard of fresh and conserved pork meat; (vi) improvement of sanitary measures of meat processing and conservation processes.
